Since 1973, the Wixom Public Library has been serving the ever-changing needs of our diverse community with quality collections, services and programs that support its informational, educational, cultural, and recreational needs.
A dedicated community of supporters makes this work possible. There are many ways to be involved. Read on to learn about how you can help support the Library so that it may be enjoyed by us all.
Volunteer
The Wixom Public Library has an ongoing volunteer program. We have a variety of work for our volunteers and we try to find something that will work for you. Tasks may include cleaning, helping with programming preparations, shelf reading, and more.
If you would like to volunteer some of your time at the Library, please fill out the 
Volunteer Application and return it to the Information Desk. Note: Volunteers under 18 must fill out the Teen Volunteer Application with a parent signature. **NOTE: Due to the Pandemic, we are not accepting volunteers at this time. Please check back in the future for volunteer oportunities. **

Adopt an Author
If you are an avid reader, consider participating in our new Adopt an Author program. Here’s how it works: let the Library know which author(s) you would like to adopt. Each time your adoptee publishes a new book, the Library will ask you for $20. For your donation, we’ll make you first in line to get the book as well as place a bookplate in the book acknowledging your contribution. This program will help us keep more copies of best sellers on the shelf for everyone to enjoy.

Memorials and Tributes
Recognize a loved one or commemorate a special event with a gift to the Wixom Public Library. The items purchased with your gift will be shared with the entire Wixom community.
A Library Memorial or Tribute is a special way to recognize, thank or remember a special person or milestone event. The Library will place bookplates with your tribute message in the new materials purchased with your donation. We will also send a letter acknowledging your thoughtfulness to the people you specify. Memorials and tributes enhance the Library’s collection by adding items that might not be purchased otherwise. The entire Wixom community will appreciate your thoughtful gift for years to come.Simply fill out and return the following form:
