The Friends of the Wixom Public Library is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to promoting community literacy and the love of reading by supporting and expanding Library services and programs through fund-raising activities.

Book Sales Book Sales
The Friends hold two used book sales a year. The sales feature thousands of books, media items, and other specialty items. Due to capacity and social distancing restrictions the book sale events are on hold until further notice. Donated books are available for sale next to the magazines while the library is open for Grab & Go.
Silent Auction Silent Auction
Silent Auctions feature a variety of items for you to bid on, beginning two weeks before the Bi-annual book sales. Due to capacity and social distancing restrictions the book sale events are on hold until further notice.
Holiday Bundles Holiday Bundles
This crowd-pleaser features packages of books all tied up with a bow. Perfect for holiday gifts for your favorite readers. Choose from holiday themes, children’s fiction, and non-fiction. Priced between $3-10 per bundle. Available through November and December.
Book Donation Book Donations
Book donations for our book sales are always welcome! Take some time to check your bookshelves for unused items. We are especially in need of clean, current donations. Children’s books are very popular as well as DVDs and music CDs. Library staff is more than happy to provide you with a tax receipt for that purpose. Drop your books off at the Library at any time!

Recognition Tree

Leaves for the Recognition Tree may be purchased for $100 each. The leaves are bronze with black engraved letters. They may be in the form of a memorial or a donation to the library and may be purchased by individuals or businesses.
